Group II stuffing type hazardous area cable gland, suitable for non-armoured cables (or braided cables where the braid and outer sheath pass into the enclosure, and the requirements of 60079-14 are met.)

The Octans is Exe, Exd and Ext certified and suitable for installation in zones 1/21 and zones 2/22 hazardous areas.

The gland provides both a flameproof seal on the cable outer sheath which also provides IP and cable retention.

The unique design is available with 1,2 or 3 stage modular inserts, ensuring the best seal can be achieved with the lowest tightening torque.
