Bimed has been operating since 1978 as a manufacturer of plastic and metallic medical and mechanical components. Today, Bimed remains a family-owned organization with more than 600 employees working in a 22,000 square meter facility in Istanbul, Turkey. 


We also have 3,000 m2 closed area and 20,000 m2 open area production facility in Romania, as well as offices in North America, Germany and Egypt. In many other countries, Bimed is represented through local distribution partners. Our product range consists of the following groups: 

  • Cable glands and conduit fittings (both general purpose and hazardous area)

Pressure balance elements (breather drains & ventilation plugs) 

  • Disposable medical products Bimed is constantly working to achieve customer satisfaction, by meeting requested requirements with its standard and customized products. 


Our development team is constantly developing new and innovative products and solutions resulting in numerous new patents annually. With a worldwide market base, the Bimed distribution network has been established to ensure that the needs of this global market are well understood and fully satisfied. 


Our products have been expanded and distributed in more than 60 countries worldwide. Alongside the Bimed product range, we also produce private label goods for many global organizations, providing them with unique, customized connectivity products to satisfy their customer needs – utilizing our product and manufacturing knowledge to meet their market requirements.
